The Dinner Set launch party

Sophie E on 23rd Nov, 2014

The Dinner Set officially launched this weekend in Old Street London with an eclectic party. Thanks to all who came for making it such an epic evening! Relive the memories with the great photos below, courtesy of Irena Pechon photography. Don't forget to come back and visit us when you're planning you next dinner or drinks at home. Entertaining made easy.

The lavish party brought to life an exclusive sneak preview of our 12 Easy Entertaining Tips of Christmas campaign - 12 blogs packed with great ideas to make your Christmas entertaining effortless - from extra Christrmas decoration touches to easy Christmas cocktails - like us on Facebook to get the tips as they publish, first.

Our Party writer Treasa B had the place set up beautifully in no time with the help of the team. 7pm hit and guests arrived thick and fast. Chefs, journalists, bloggers and media people soon kicked back with Nathan N, our Drinks writer, serving up Easy Cocktails like Sipsmith Damson Fizz and Gin and Q-cumber.

Our food writer Jen G served up an eclectic mix of easy and imaginative canapés, from Goats Cheese Mousse & The Bay Tree's marvellous marinated fig, Bath Pig Chorizo and manchego pesto and Gravadlax to the hugely popular Bacon brownies and Devilishly Delicious popcorn panna cotta. All finished off with some genial G&T iced lemon cakes with a little helping hand from the House of the Rising Bun.

Music from our Christmas playlist blog filled the room, including up-and-coming simmering soul songwriter Lily Tonico, who we were delighted to have join us for the evening.

The evening rounded off with a ceremonial serving of the amazing flowering Flora Tea before guests merrily exited with goody bags, all set to recreate the evening back home. Thanks to all for an epic night. Look out for the next tip coming next week.
